We now offer a short treatment system - a series of 3 to 5 custom made clear aligner trays - to correct minor rotations or spacing in your front teeth without the need of wires or braces. The last tray then serves as a long-term removable retainer to maintain this revision. These clear aligners can be used for the upper or lower teeth alone, or on both simultaneously. Aligners are an ideal solution for adult patients who have experienced minor relapse after childhood orthodontic treatment.
Clear aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan. Your first step is to visit our office to determine aligner treatment is right for you. Once treatment is initiated, a series of aligner trays will be provided to you by the orthodontist to be worn in a specific order. Each aligner is worn full time for about 3 weeks and can be taken out to eat, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will begin to move gradually -- week-by-week until the final alignment prescribed is attained. Then you'll be smiling like you never have before
To ensure the best possible results, only an orthodontist who has been trained and certified in aligner technology can diagnose and treat using this system.
